What I'm Reading...

If you were a fan of my June and August book suggestions, then I have your next must-read! "Mrs. Nash's Ashes" is the rollercoaster of emotions you never knew you needed! Starting in Washington D.C., the main character goes on a road trip to fulfill a promise she made to her elderly best friend, Mrs. Ash. This delightful tale is more than just a road trip; it's a dance between cynicism and romance. Trust me, by the end, you'll be rooting for love and maybe even planning your own quirky journey! 🚗💨❤️📖

What I'm Eating...

One hour outside of DC on the waterfront of North Beach, MD, Ketch 22 offers a delightful dining experience that perfectly captures the charm of North Beach. Owners Bobby and Julie Jones, both seasoned veterans in the restaurant game, present a menu boasting locally sourced ingredients, with the Whipped Feta appetizer standing out as an absolute must-try! Escape the city for an evening of great food and live music on their large waterside patio. Ketch 22 guarantees more than just a meal — it's an experience!

What I'm Watching...

It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE Taylor Swift fan or that I love sports - especially football! So, when Taylor began dating NFL sensation Travis Kelce, I couldn't resist diving into this documentary! Here's the scoop from Amazon: NFL All-Pro center Jason Kelce embarked on documenting what he presumed to be his final NFL year. But the film goes deeper, presenting an unfiltered look into the pivotal moments of both Jason and Travis: launching a successful podcast, awaiting the birth of Jason’s third child with Kylie, and their electrifying encounter at the Super Bowl, all while Jason contemplates hanging up his cleats. It's an essential watch for NFL aficionados and for those curious about the new chapter in Travis's life that our beloved Taylor has stepped into!

What I'm Doing...

It's officially fall, and you know what that means in Annapolis, MD? Boat show season! Charlie and I are super excited for the Annapolis Powerboat Show this weekend. Since its inception in 1972, this show has only grown bigger and better. From premiering powerboat models to BoatUS offering on-water classes (yes, including docking!), there's so much to dive into. Oh, and for my fellow fishing enthusiasts, FishTalk’s Fishing Spot is BACK in the Yacht Basin! For anyone eyeing a shiny new (or new-to-you) boat, this is your haven. And, once the show wraps up, make sure to roam around our picturesque downtown area. Loads of places are offering special deals for attendees, and you can check them all out on the Show's website. Can't wait to see you there! 🌊🚤✨
